From Healing to Hope: A Message of Faith for 2025

As we step into 2025, I’m reminded of a powerful truth from Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This isn’t just a verse to memorize—it’s a promise to live by. Just two weeks into the new year, I want to share something profound: God desires this to be your best year yet.

The Power of Consistent Faith

I’ve learned something crucial about spiritual healing and growth—it requires consistency. Think about it like medicine: you can’t take one dose and expect permanent results. The same applies to our spiritual journey. During our healing service last October, many experienced remarkable breakthroughs. Those who continued in their faith journey, staying connected and “taking their spiritual medicine” daily, maintained their healing. Others expected a one-time fix and wondered why the effects didn’t last.

A Personal Journey of Healing

Let me share something personal. About a year ago, I experienced supernatural healing from a traumatic brain injury. God literally reached down from heaven and touched me. But maintaining that healing required dedication to staying in faith and in the Word. It wasn’t a one-time event—it was the beginning of a journey.

The Challenge of Dark Days

Last fall, we faced one of our toughest days. My wife Jeanine and I hit a point where we both felt we couldn’t continue. We were dealing with loved ones making difficult choices, and the weight felt overwhelming. But something powerful happened that day. We made a decisive choice, in Jeanine’s words: “We will choose each day to do the right thing, we will choose each day to live in faith.”

Finding Strength in Community

During this challenging time, I was deeply inspired by our Pastor Melissa’s story. Earlier in 2024, she faced a serious health crisis with appendicitis and complications. What struck me was how she and her husband Rodger maintained unwavering faith throughout their ordeal. Their faith proved contagious, giving me strength when I needed it most.

The Woman with the Issue of Blood: A Timeless Story

Some might think it was easier to receive healing in biblical times. Let me challenge that notion with the story of the woman who had been bleeding for twelve years (Mark 5:25-34). She faced numerous obstacles:

  • Chronic illness that left her weak and in pain
  • Financial ruin from seeking medical help
  • Social isolation due to her ceremonial uncleanliness
  • Crowds blocking her access to Jesus
  • The risk of public shame

Yet she pressed through, touched Jesus’ garment, and was immediately healed. Here’s the beautiful truth: the same God who healed her is alive and active today in 2025.

Moving Forward in Faith

As we journey through this year, remember that your faith journey isn’t just about you. Your healing, your breakthrough, your unwavering faith will be contagious to others around you. It might be exactly what someone else needs to get through their dark times.

Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” This year, I challenge you to be bold in your prayers, consistent in your faith, and expectant for God’s miraculous power in your life.

Remember, it’s not by coincidence that you’re reading this today. God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He wants this to be your best year yet. The same God who spoke creation into existence, who parted the Red Sea, who turned water into wine, who heals the sick and raises the dead—that same God is working in your life right now.

Let’s make 2025 a year of unwavering faith, consistent spiritual growth, and bold expectations of God’s goodness.
